Yes. You can create and download PNG images for free with the PNG generator. A subscription can provide more creative options and advanced features, but it is not required for every creation or download.

Open the AI workspace, enter a description of the hand-drawn purple star or a related design, and generate the result. You can then download the artwork as a PNG.

Use the AI workspace to describe variations such as rougher brush marks, different outline colors, or a looser star shape. Generating several related descriptions can help you explore the style.

Upload the PNG as an image asset into a Canva design, then position it alongside your text, illustrations, or other visual elements. Its expressive outline can work as a decorative accent.

Try placing the star near a corner, beside a headline, or at the end of a short editorial callout. Its open gaps and textured contours can add emphasis without covering the main message.

Light neutrals can make the purple and black contours stand out clearly, while muted gold or warm pink can create a more playful pairing. Use a restrained background so the brush texture remains visible.
